Alex Dominguez '01

Alex Dominguez, State Director for Corporate External and Legislative Affairs for AT&T, is responsible for AT&T's corporate engagement and governmental advocacy efforts with state and local elected leaders, non-profit organizations, chambers of commerce and other business groups throughout the State of Florida. His duties also include managing AT&T’s philanthropic efforts and the development of a sponsorship and contribution strategy for the company’s community engagement footprint.
Prior to his time at AT&T, Mr. Dominguez served as the Executive Director of the Miami-Dade County Legislative Delegation where he worked with state executive and legislative leaders to advance Miami-Dade’s regional legislative priorities.


Mr. Dominguez was a Florida House of Representatives Legislative Fellow during the 2004-2005 legislative session in Tallahassee, working in the Local Government Council. He serves a member of several community boards, including: The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, HistoryMiami Museum, Prospera (formerly the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund), Blue Missions, and the Miami Police Athletic League. He was also a Miami Foundation Fellow for the group’s 10th cohort from 2017 to 2018.
Mr. Dominguez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University and a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University. He currently lives in Miami, FL. with his wife Jessica, a speech therapist, and their daughter Samantha and son Andrew.
