Your Role as an Ambassador
The people who know and love the brand are the best advocates for it. As a member of the President's Council, your goal is to communicate the university’s message in a concerted and consistent way. Our aim is to engage members and provide them with the tools necessary to promote the university to the public.
Through collaboration with the Office of Community Relations, the President’s Council will:
- Educate ambassadors on university initiatives
- Establish advocacy opportunities
- Determine the special interests and strengths of our ambassadors enabling us to match individual interests to the university’s needs
- Offer refresher courses and supply ambassadors with regular updates on the university
- Assist ambassadors to utilize their professional connections and memberships to leverage opportunities to promote the university
- Utilize these efforts to feed directly into the identification of opportunities for increased community involvement and awareness as well as prospect identification
