Albert Robert serves as the Assistant Director of Communications for the City of Miami, where he passionately bridges the gap between the local government and its diverse community. With a background in strategic communication and public relations, Albert orchestrates impactful campaigns and initiatives that inform and engage Miami residents. His adeptness in crafting clear and compelling messages, coupled with his innate understanding of the city's unique cultural fabric, ensures that communication efforts resonate authentically with Miami's vibrant population. Dedicated to fostering transparency and accessibility, Albert collaborates closely with city officials, stakeholders, and media outlets to amplify the city's voice and uphold its commitment to serving its constituents.
Albert’s previous roles include Chief of Staff to a City of Miami Commissioner, where he led and oversaw all legislative, policy, communications, and constituent services strategies, in addition to serving as the Commissioner’s chief policy and strategic advisor. Prior to that, he was Vice President of the Miami Association of Fire Fighters, where he represented 800+ members and advocated for firefighter priorities at the local, state, and federal levels. Albert is a City of Miami Fire Lieutenant and State of Florida Paramedic with over 15 years of experience in Emergency Management.
Albert earned a Bachelor's in Supervision and Management from Broward College and a Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the Miami Firefighters Health Insurance Trust Fund and is a member of the Latin Builders Association.
In his free time, Albert enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
