As the founding member and President of The Lasarte Law Firm, my areas of practice include land use and zoning, government relations and procurement. My experience extends to obtaining land development approvals in Miami-Dade County and its municipalities. This extensive experience, along with keen relationships with decision makers, allows the Lasarte Law Firm to enjoy a strong reputation and provide its clients with a comprehensive approach to land use issues. Established in 2008, the Lasarte Law Firm has proven itself to be one of fastest up and coming and in demand zoning/land use and government relations firms in South Florida. At the Lasarte Law Firm, we have taken a more personal approach to our practice that allows our clients to have a stronger connection to the Firm as we work together with you to help you meet your goal. I founded the Lasarte Law Firm after working as a partner with several national firms in the Miami area. My goal was to create a firm that provides world-class legal representation through personal and hands on means. The clientele base at the Lasarte Law Firm includes various international, national and local developers, internal infrastructure firms and publicly owned companies doing business in the Greater Miami Area. I have also worked with clients in obtaining government contracts, structuring public/private partnerships, and developing business strategies. I've assisted certain governmental entities with establishing procurement policies and have represented several clients in bid negotiations and protests. I have significant experience representing some of the largest companies in outdoor advertising in the South Florida Market. Areas of Expertise: Governmental Relations and Procurement Public / Private Partnerships (P3's) Zoning issues Outdoor Advertising I served on the Miami _ Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) Board of Directors for 6 years and 2 years as its Chairman. The MDX provides safe, affordable choices for the movement of people and goods in Miami-Dade County. The MDX system supports and sustains economic opportunities in the South Florida region. I also served on the Board of Directors for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) for 4 years which is an organization which strives to bring greater commuter mobility to South Florida while improving the economic viability of the region.
