Before joining QPWB, Mr. Gonzalez worked at the Miami office of Wicker Smith O'Hara McCoy & Ford P.A where he focused his practice on civil litigation, insurance & bad faith, labor & employment, legal malpractice, medical malpractice and premises liability matters.
In 2013, Mr. Gonzalez graduated from Florida International University where he majored in Political Science and International Relations. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the FIU College of Law in 2017. While in law school, Mr. Gonzalez interned for the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Principal Legal Adviser, where he prosecuted immigration violations and assisted counsel in removal proceedings. During his second and third years of law school, Mr. Gonzalez served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade Public Defender, where he conducted depositions, argued substantive motions before the Court and conducted trials in both the Juvenile and Jail Crimes Divisions. Mr. Gonzalez also simultaneously worked at Wicker Smith as a law clerk in his same areas of practice during his second and third years of law school. He was also awarded the CALI Book Award for Legal Research & Writing I + II.
Mr. Gonzalez resides in Miami, FL where he and his wife, a fellow three time FIU graduate, are raising their daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, road course racing, and fine cuisine.
