Danielle Dubuc-Wightman

Danielle Dubuc Wightman is a proud mom of two and a committed advocate for education, emotional wellness, and youth development. For over 16 years, she has worked across the U.S. and Latin America creating trauma-informed, culturally grounded programs that support children, families, and educators.

Born and raised in Miami with roots in Colombia, Danielle holds a dual Master’s in Neuropsychology, Multiple Intelligences, and Mindfulness from IMF University and Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid, along with certifications in Leadership and Strategic Impact from Harvard and Yale.

As Executive Director of FCC USA, she scaled the organization from 200 to over 5,000 youth annually through free, year-round programs that integrate soccer, mental health, mentorship, and financial literacy. She co-developed a Soccer + Financial Literacy project that teaches practical skills from budgeting to entrepreneurship. Under her leadership, FCC was named Nonprofit of the Year, launched a healing initiative in East Jerusalem, and co-published a study with FIU’s Department of Psychology in the Journal of Sport for Development. She also trained facilitators through CADCA to use sport to prevent youth opioid use.

Danielle bridges public and private sectors to reduce ACEs and improve youth well-being. She serves on the Miami-Dade Community Relations Board and chairs the School Health Advisory Committee for MDCPS.

In 2020, she was named Nonprofit Business Woman of the Year by the Coral Gables Chamber. She also developed a trauma-informed Girl Program for ages 9–17, equipping participants with tools for resilience, financial independence, and purpose-driven leadership.
